Before Mark started as the financial controller for IFHA, Mark worked in forensic accounting at BDO. In his role at BDO Mark gained extensive financial knowledge by taking part in various special and forensic investigations in the field of fraud, money laundering, embezzlement and theft. Mark also engaged in special investigations as an expert witness for the Court of law and as an independent party expert.
Prior to joining BDO, Mark worked for several years for EY in financial accounting & financial auditing. Mark gained considerable experience as a financial accountant/auditor, where he was involved in the financial reporting and audit of the annual reports for a wide variety of domestic and international clients varying in size and nature.
Mark holds a Master of Science degree in Accountancy from Nyenrode Business University and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the Hanzehogeschool Groningen.
